What we value
We connect nature and life through manufacturing using precious wood.
We want to pass on the rich mountains, where precious trees grow, to future generations.

At Hinamori Meiboku, we strive to make products that can be passed on to the next generation, such as mementos between parents and children, or old everyday tools that have been used carefully, etc. We also propose remakes that give shape to the new thoughts and feelings of our generation.
Longevity of Use with Proper Care
We strive to make products that use precious wood with great care and without waste. For customers who have purchased our products, we provide maintenance services such as table repair and cutting board renewal for increased longevity of use.

Respecting the forest
In order to make people feel close to precious wood, we provide opportunities to experience the excellence of precious wood firsthand. While touring the exhibition rooms and warehouses, you can learn about the environment in which the wood is nurtured, the differences in tenor, characteristics, and uses depending on the tree species, and then experience a relaxing time in our Japanese-style room space where you can feel the breath of precious wood grown in Kirishima.
Zero waste
At Hinamori Precious Wood, we are working on the "Wood Scraps Project" which reuses wood shavings generated in the manufacturing process in order to use precious wood without waste. Our wood shavings and chips are currently being used on farms in place of conventional synthetic mulch, and are also being reborn into new works and products by artists and people from various industries.

Leaning about precious wood
Resource depletion is becoming more and more serious with each passing year, not only in Japan but also around the world. We are working to plant trees on our own mountains, with the desire to pass on the rich mountains, where precious trees grow, to future generations for the next 1,000 years.
